  • “Committed to doing our part in making our products as easy on the environment as possible. We continue to grow our organic line with new fabrics, styles and colors in 100% Organic Cotton, RPET, Recycled Cotton, Viscose Bamboo, Viscose Hemp & Eco-Triblend.

All of our sustainable fabrics are made with Organic / Eco-Friendly yarns and finished with environmentally friendly dyes.

Organic Cotton is certified by GOTS which stands for Global Organic Textile Standard.”

RPET— Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate, or recycled PET. Our products that contain RPET yarn are made using recycled bottles. The amount of bottles per style may vary. An estimated 60 million plastic bottles are thrown out every day, our line saves at least 2 million and we only aim to get better.

We only use low impact, fiber reactive dyes in our garments that are not harmful to the environment. This means that our dyes do not contain any heavy metals or toxic substances. This applies to all styles both organic and non-organic. Recycled water is used in our dye facilities as well. In addition. we use recycled and organic materials in many styles. We are committed to doing our part in offering sustainable, eco-friendly products and manufacturing methods that work with our planet, not against it.”

  • “Good T-Shirts for the World™

ONNO makes t-shirts from sustainable fibers, in small, family-owned production environments. We buy carbon offsets to balance the harm we do moving t-shirts from here to there, and ultimately aim to make you—and everyone we work with—a little happier. :)”

    “Good T-Shirts for the World™

When I was four, I would reach behind my neck, grab the tag on the inside of my t-shirt and rip it out. This generally left a large hole in my shirt. T-shirt tags bothered me then and still bother me now. Today, ONNO t-shirts have a silky soft tag that I can’t feel at all. ONNO was started in 2006 and I’ve been focused on making Good T-Shirts since then.

For me, Good T-Shirts start with eco-friendly fibers. They need to fit great and feel great. All the people we touch (factories, warehouse, office, shipping, and you) need to be treated well.

I’ve personally sourced the yarn used to make ONNO t-shirts. Our yarns are somewhat eco-friendly. I say ‘somewhat’ because our GOTS certified organic cotton for example, still requires a significant amount of water to grow. Even though it’s organic, it’s not perfect. It is, however, better than conventional cotton – which requires lots of pesticides that end up in our rivers and soil. This in turn wreaks havoc on our environment. For example, I think the disappearance of honey bees is linked to the use of these pesticides. Using sustainable fibers helps move things in the right direction.

Good T-Shirts also means that you need to love wearing your shirt. I studied mechanical engineering in college, here in Boulder, and have always loved designing stuff. ONNO t-shirts have 23 primary measurements. I’ve been adjusting those measurements since 2006, and continue to think about them today. Our t-shirts fit well – I hope you’ll agree. I’ve also worked on our fabrics to make sure they breathe well and have good ‘mechanical elasticity’. Elasticity is what allows you to move comfortably in your shirt, without feeling constricted – essential for a Good T-Shirt.

You can’t make Good T-Shirts without good people. I do my best to work with people who are fun and of the highest integrity. Working with fun people makes life much better. ONNO is partnered with two small-family owned factories. You can read more about our t-shirt production.

If you’ve bought an ONNO t-shirt – thank you. If you have time, let me know your thoughts about ONNO, our shirts, or anything, for that matter. Your feedback is vital and shapes my thinking about how to keep improving.

    Sincerely,

    Jack Kanefield”

  • “Allmade was started by regular people, for regular people, just like you. Allmade’s ten founders found common thread to create a better shirt. As simple screen printers, they started with a desire to create a great shirt to print on, but ended with a shirt you can feel great about. When we started in 2017, we were no experts and didn’t know a thing about making apparel nor its impact, but through exploration and education we learned the impact we could have on people and planet by doing it differently. Will you make the choice to learn about your impact and how you can make a difference?

The Allmade story started when we traveled to Haiti together and experienced first-hand the economic and environmental challenges experienced by garment workers. We realized what a positive impact we could have by creating dignified fair wage jobs that empower the proud people of Haiti to take care of themselves and their families. We returned wholly committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and child abandonment in Haiti, while reducing our industry’s impact on the environment.”
